Does this make ANY sense? What do you 'think' is happening, when you read it the first time?

I think it's really good. I understand that Elias and Lily are -were- brother and sister and Elias ends up killing her because, I'm guessing, she was the "last infected human." Of course I don't know what that or the [italics] mean, but that would make me want to keep reading. I also understand that the italics happened either sometime in the past (which would make my theory about Lily being the last infected person wrong) or in the future. The only thing I would have liked is if there were descriptions of what Elias and Lily generally looked like (color of hair/eyes, etc.) and kind of a heads up on where they were. I guess I saw the word neurochemicals and so I pictured them in a lab, and then they're in the water and I was like, "wha-?" But I did think it was really good, and, yeah, I'd read it. :)
